Johanna and Ysabs' Tugue Adventure 2009

A quick trip after a friend of ours got married in Quirino.  We were in the area so... WHY NOT? :)

This was my second time visiting Tuguegarao. So it wasn't as foreign to me.

My sister's husband is from Tuguegarao.  And the first time was an amazing experience since I had many firsts on that trip:
1. first time to swim in a river

2  first time to Kayak

3. first time to eat at a Pansitan
4. first time to not be with my parents on Holy Week.

The second time around was also a different experience all together!  Johanna and I traveled from Quirino to Tugegarao.  For half of the trip, we hitched a ride with Mico's (our friend's husband) mother on the way to Isabela to catch a bus going to Tuguegarao since buses apparently have more routes through Isabela.

The next half of the trip was pure adventure: around 6 hours of travel just in the bus.  Enough time to take in the view and appreciate the simple provincial life go by.

When we arrived, we were greeted from the bus station by Kuya Fred who had a ready smile.  WELCOME TO TUGUEGARAO! :)

We were in for a TREAT :)

The trip that started it all! Only the two of us would be crazy enough to hop on that bus somewhere in Quirino Province to go to Tugue. Haha. Great meeting your Lebanese relatives too.
